ABOUT THE TEAM

It is SAP Signavios mission to assist our customers in their digital transformation. We help them to understand and to improve their business processes in a data-driven way.

The NEXT engineering team has a high standard for producing quality work at a fast pace. We are looking to expand our team with a new colleague that matches this standard.

You dont need to be an expert yet. But you need to be eager to learn, so we can train you to become one! More than anything else we are looking for ambitious people who are eager to learn and who want to take on new challenges.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

You will learn how to work in a senior software engineering team and build software products with real customer impact.

As part of your work assignments, you will leverage LLMs and your Python development skills to solve real-world problems of Signavio customers.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Proficiency in these areas is a must: Python, Pydantic, FastAPI (or similar Python framework), PostgresSQL (or similar relational database), GIT and effective debugging skills.

  • A minimum of 3000 hours of hands-on experience in software development. Please share your GitHub profile with public access to repositories containing Python code youve written

  • A self-starter who can work autonomously and is a fast learner.

  • During the interview process, candidates must be able to share and defend non-trivial code from one of their previous projects

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills in English. German is a plus but not required.

  • Completed Bachelor or Masters program in Computer Science or related technical field, respectively equivalent practical experience.

  • At least have been actively coding for over 6 months.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in prompt engineering and integrating LLMs are a plus.

  • Experience with TypeScript and React are a plus

  • Experience in Business Process Management, Process Mining / BPM / task mining projects is a plus.

  • Experience in entrepreneurship is a plus.

  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams is a plus.
